I’ve been curious about stop-motion animation for quite some time, and have been looking for opportunities to assist on real animation film sets to get some hands-on training and behind-the-scenes-experience. So yesterday I took time off (from my duties at Skillbreak) and went on my very own Skillbreak with director and stop motion animator Staffan Erlandsson. Staffan and his wife Anna run an award-winning animation studio in Stockholm called Röda Roboten Animation (rodaroboten.se). They are known for their witty and creative movies for kids. Yesterday we worked on an animated Vignette for a kids serie called PysselLördag that premieres on Barnkanalen, SVT soon. To assist and to view Staffan at work was as always a super inspiring and valuable learning experience.
I am very proud to say that Staffan is now part of our creative experts community. He will run a playful and creative stop motion workshop with us on the 14th of October. Sounds interesting? Read more here
